Join our client as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Walloon-Brabant and help shape the future of healthcare. 

Your responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, boost productivity, and shorten lead times, including with automation.

• Develop an annual plan for process improvements and prepare Capital Expenditure cases.

• Collaborate with internal teams to lead projects from design to implementation.

• Oversee technology transfer to third-party manufacturers.

• Coordinate production activities with the department management team

• Partner with the Facility on infrastructure, maintenance, and calibration.

• Draft SOPs and Work Instructions.

• Work with Quality Assurance, non-conformities, and quality improvements.

• Represent Manufacturing in product development projects.

• Implement risk management practices in manufacturing.

• Stay updated on technology trends and assess their relevance for manufacturing.

• Maintain Technical File documentation.

• Promote health and safety initiatives and collaborate on workplace improvements with the Environment, Hygiene and Security Manager.

Your profile:

• You have a master's degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or automation.

• You have at least 5 years of proven experience in this position within the medical device or pharmaceutical sector.

• You are able to design and optimize production lines with semi-automation or full automation.

• You are familiar with Lean Six Sigma method (optional).

• You know how to manage projects that involve outsourcing manufacturing or technology transfers.

• You have a strong background in applying risk management techniques and performing root cause analysis.

• You have competence in developing equipment software (PLC programming) and using Computer-Aided Design (CAD).

• You are proactive and an influential leader, capable of effective communication at all levels of the organization, including suppliers and external manufacturers.

• You like to focus on details and quality.

• You are fluent in both written and spoken English and French.

• A collaborative team player with a problem-solving mindset and practical approach.

• You are motivated, autonomous, eager to learn, you like to resolve problems, and are able to manage stressful situations

• You agree to travel sometimes for work
